In this writing workshop series, we’ll use gentle and playful writing exercises to embrace the feeling of spring. Let’s write about beginnings, firsts, and yeses. Morning hair and the last fruit on our lips. Let’s shift the words around like seeds cracking open to peek the stories from new angles. What’s being composted, what’s rooting, and what’s sprouting? We’ll get curious about what’s awakening for us and invite our inner listening into the room alongside our whimsy and frolicking.

Join Catherine Gray, a creative nonfiction writer and educator, on Tuesday evenings from 5:30-7:30pm for a 6 week Creative Writing Workshop on April 9-May 14th.

What’s included?

-2 hours of writing instruction each week for 6 weeks - a total of 12 hours of instruction

-Weekly exercises and prompts to generate writing that you can continue to develop throughout the week and beyond the 6-week class

-An exploration of how writing inspires greater presence and curiosity in our day-to-day lives, community, and relationships

-Guided meditations to connect to our bodies and our environment at the start and end of every class

-Participation in a writing community of women for anyone interested in writing about their true experiences. All experience levels welcome
